 Man pleads guilty to gang-related charges (Newport News, VA):: The U.S. Attorney's Office said Kevin L. Ashby of Newport News pled guilty to participating in a racketeering conspiracy and violence in aid of racketeering including murder. Ashby was indicted by a federal grand jury last July. According to court documents, Ashby was part of the gang known in the city as "Thug Relations." The gang is also known as "The Duct," "Warwick Lawnz," "TR" and "from the Duct to the Lawnz."

 Expert: There are 'several different Blood' gang groups in Accomack (Accomac, VA):: There are multiple units operating in Accomack County of the Bloods, a street gang known for its clothing and crime, according to testimony by a crime expert. Virginia State Police gang unit specialist Elliott Anderson told the court there were "several different Blood groups" in Accomack and most of the county's gang activity involved that particular gang or subsets of it.

 Hanging Or Banging At The Mall?:  never thought I’d be old enough to say, “The kids these days are out of control.” Oh well, here I am complaining. Please pass the Tums while you’re at it. When I was young, way back in the early 90s, my friends and I hung out at the mall. There were arcade games, the latest basketball shoes and of course, girls. But now there seems to be other reasons kids are gravitating toward malls, to hang with their crew.
