 Fourth suspect charged in Middlesex shooting (Middlesex County, VA):: Another suspect has been charged in the double shooting in Middlesex County on July 5, according to police. According to the Middlesex County Sheriff's Office, the fourth suspect, Kendrick Jarrell, 27, of Shacklefords, was arrested July 10 and charged with malicious wounding and street gang participation in a predicate criminal act.

 Gang fight leads to child neglect case (Suffolk, VA): Suffolk Police found young children living in deplorable conditions while serving a search warrant Tuesday. Officers were called to the downtown area on June 5 for a report of a fight. That investigation led officers to Kimberly Shanqua Shelton, 20, who police say assaulted another woman as a gang initiation.

 Two Bounty Hunter Gang Members Plead Guilty to Racketeering and Firearms Charges: NORFOLK, VA—Arous John Phillips, a/k/a AJ, 23, and Eric Drandell Ward, a/k/a Lil E, 29, both of Portsmouth, Va., pled guilty today in Norfolk federal court to one count of racketeering and one count of possession of a firearm in furtherance of a crime of violence. Neil H. MacBride, United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia, made the announcement after Phillips and Ward entered their guilty pleas before United States District Judge Jerome B. Friedman.
